    We collect information to improve the SLK Letter and prepare for the SLK Journal:
        
         Identity Data:
    Name and email address provided via our beehiiv landing page.

         Demographic Data: Age range and gender identification, collected voluntarily via polls to better understand our "Articulated Travelers".

         Technical Data: IP address and browser type, collected automatically through our hosting and newsletter platforms.

         Referral Data: Information regarding successful shares of the SLKROAD newsletter.
  2. Purpose of Processing

    Your data is processed based on your explicit consent for the following purposes:

        To deliver the monthly SLK Letter and the SLK Threshold manifesto.

         To manage our referral program and distribute rewards. 
  3. Data Storage and International Transfers

    As a global venture, your data may be stored on servers located outside of the European Economic Area (EEA), primarily through our service provider, beehiiv & webflow. We ensure that all third-party providers adhere to Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to maintain GDPR-equivalent protections.

         The Right to Access: You may request a copy of the data we hold about you.

         The Right to Rectification: You may ask us to correct inaccurate information.

         The Right to Erasure: You may request that we delete your data (the "Right to be Forgotten").

         The Right to Withdraw Consent: You may unsubscribe from the SLK Letter at any time using the link at the bottom of any email.
  5. Data Retention

    We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including the duration of the SLK Journal production cycle ending in June 2027.
